It’s Race Day!🏁

Come out to Thunder Hill Speedway tonight Thursday, June 18th for Storm Series Race Number 2 presented by Irvington Garage! We will have Rookie Class, Sportsman Karts, Outlaw Wing Karts, Non Wing Micros, and Gopher Midget Racing Series Midgets!

We have bleacher seating (or bring your own lawn chair), a full concession stand, and entertainment for all!

Pit gates open at 4:30pm
Draw Cut Off at 6pm
Racing Action at 7pm

Come check out the exciting Racing action in all classes!

Spectator admission only $10 and kids 12 and under are free!

Attention Micro Sprint racers!

For 2026 Thunder Hill Speedway adopted NOW 600 A-Class Micro Sprint rules with the exception of Mandatory Hoosier tires.

With all of our efforts to build the strength of the Micro class we will now adopt the NOW 600 tire rules as well and eliminate the mandatory Hoosier in an effort to allow our Racers to have the same options as all other NOW 600 competitors around the country in preparation for our upcoming $6,000 to Win National Event and the ability to travel to other tracks and not be at a disadvantage. It will also allow travelers to race their current NOW 600 legal equipment at Thunder Hill Speedway. It will also give competitors the option of racing a less expensive tire if they choose.

We feel this full adoption of the NOW 600 Car rules will continue to strengthen the class and keep us from putting our drivers and track on an island.

This amendment/adoption does not force anyone to change anything with their current program unless they choose to but it does give racers the same options as all other competitors.

We are very happy to see the amazing growth of the Micro class and want what's best for the racers!

*Note: We are not a sanctioned NOW 600 track and our race format, operations, points, etc may vary slightly from NOW 600 but we will follow their car rules effective immediately.

We have also revised our tech procedures and have all systems in place for proper technical inspection going forward.
