A reminder that tomorrow is the final day to record shots for the 15,000 shot club. Starting Sept. 1st you can email completed forms to Coach Bailey ([email protected]) or send the hard copy to the high school office. Don't forget to have the athlete's name, grade, shots taken, and t-shirt size on the form when you submit it. We look forward to seeing who joins the club this year! 🏀🔥🐾

Please spread the word.... We are beginning to seek and welcome sponsors for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Tomorrow (Aug. 26th) our players will be out and about stopping by as many local area businesses as they can. If for any reason we miss you and you're interested or you know someone interested that we missed, please contact us or the booster club directly.

For 5 Mondays this summer we had our JV guys competing in a River Falls league and our varsity guys were over in the Altoona league. This summer we put all of our emphasis on core defensive and offensive principles and systems. We set out to build the foundation for what we want to do come this November. We saw growth in many areas and also were able to identify areas we need some extra attention. All in all, it was a great summer league season. Both teams ended their leagues on a high note going 2-0 tonight.

Tomorrow is the final week of varsity and JV summer league. Both teams have represented well, made tons of growth, and now look to end the summer season on a high note!

Varsity- @ Altoona HS 6:00 & 7:00 PM
JV- @ River Falls HS 5:00 & 6:40 PM

Both teams are back in action tonight after a short pause in the summer league schedules. JV will play at GREENWOOD ELEMENTARY in River Falls, not at the high school. Varsity is at the high school in Altoona as normal.

The guys are back in action on the hardwood with a full day of hoops up in Rice Lake tomorrow!

After a week off for the WIAA dead period the guys were back in the lab again this morning. 24 hoopers came to work today. Coach C-Mac was working on how to use angles to help get downhill, as well as how to finish/play off two feet. We wrapped up the session with some quick decision drills to improve making reads.

Player Development is on Tuesdays this month, and now the WIAA dead week is over, we're back at it today at 9:30!

Just a friendly reminder that we are required by the WIAA to take a week off over the 4th. So, please note the following information for the upcoming weeks.

1. NO player development session Thursday this week (7/2).

2. NO summer league for JV or V next Monday (7/6). The next league night for both V and JV is July 13th *V in Altoona as usual, but JV will play at Greenwood Elementary in RF at 6:30 & 7:20 that week.

3. Beginning next week on 7/7 all player development sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:00.

4. Upcoming varsity events
-7/11 Rice Lake Tournament (9 AM, 12 PM, 2PM)
-7/16 Scrimmage vs Clear Lake @ SCC (6 PM)

5. Just because it's the WIAA dead week doesn't mean players can't workout, put up shots, etc on their own. So, stay sharp and we'll see ya on the 7th for player development.
