The Milwaukee Cream Citys Base Ball Club was established in 2004 to educate the community about the origins of our national pastime, base ball. The Cream Citys are fashioned after the Milwaukee Cream Citys Base Ball Club who were a highly successful amateur club from 1865-1870, winning the state amateur championship three times. Milwaukee's first professional baseball club was also called the Crea

m Citys (aka Grays), joining the National League in 1878 and lasting only one year before going bankrupt. Amateur clubs with the name of Cream City represented Milwaukee in the years 1865-1870, 1875, 1881-1889, 1889-1890, 1891, 1892, and 1894-1898. The Cream Citys Base Ball Club is part of the Cream City Base Ball Foundation founded in 2011, which is dedicated to preserving and promoting 19th Century Base Ball. The Cream Citys are also members of the Vintage Base Ball Association. The Cream Citys were the only vintage base ball team in the state of Wisconsin in 2004 and continues to be a leader in the development of Vintage Base Ball locally, statewide and nationally. We host an annual Vintage Base Ball Festival in August and have hosted teams from MN, IL, MO, IN, OH, and MI. Our club has also visited each of those states in bringing the origins of base ball to thousands of fans since 2004.

A great day of 1860s base ball with the Cream Citys, Milwaukee Grays, Menomonie Blue Caps and Chicago Salmon. Super hot but thankfully there was a nice breeze off the shores of Lake Michigan. Thanks to the City of Oak Creek for letting us be part of their 70th Birthday celebration. Cream Citys defeated the Grays 10-5 and the Salmon 11-0. The Blue Caps won both of their matches

A fantastic day of vintage Base Ball on Madeline Island! Thanks to the Menomonie Blue Caps for organizing this amazing event. Great to reconnect with the Milwaukee Cream Citys BBC. The Cream Citys faced off against the Menomonie Blue Caps, Rum River Rovers, and the Sand Creek 9.
