Had some awesome progress in just one bullpen session working with on his CB yesterday. First picture was his baseline pen where he had an okay feel for a CB but had more room to create more negative vertical break (depth) by shifting his spin axis.

Gave him one cue that helped him get on top of the pitch a little more and he instantly gained 5 inches of movement on the pitch, making it a real curveball with some serious depth.

Eric is an interesting case. He's already up 8 mph from October.

But we have noticed in our weightroom component that he has very little lay back/ range of motion capability. Which makes his improvements awesome, but so much more to come.

We will now change his programming in the weightroom/mobility focus to improve his range of motion, which will improve his lay back phase of throwing. More MPH's to be had. Excited to see his growth from here.

We are excited to officially announce Jared Reklaitis to our coaching staff. Jared will run the throwing floor and pitch design classes. He's a great addition to a growing, energetic and experienced staff.

Jared Reklaitis pitched 4 years at the Division 1 level at UW-Milwaukee. He was a mainstay in the weekend starting rotation for his junior and senior seasons.

Jared broke the UWM single season strikeout record by accumulating 104 K’s in 99.1 innings. Named to the Second-Team All Horizon League team, leading the conference in both wins and strikeouts. Jared shares the single-game strikeout record, striking out 15, in a complete game effort against Youngstown St. in the conference tournament.

Outside of UWM, Jared played in the Alaskan Baseball League, playing for the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks. He was named First Team All-League after posting a 2.67 ERA with 53 K’s in 60.2 Innings.

It’s a good week at the facility as our high school guys that have been training for the past 2 months have their baseline velocity testing!

Tyler Gall, class of 2021 from Oak Creek High School, tops out at 93 (didn’t get on video) and hits 92 two more times.

A great start to Day 1 of pulldowns!
