My name is Jason Rivera, and I am an Army combat veteran with a strong passion for exercise science. I am dedicated to helping people achieve fitness and overall health. I hold a Master of Science degree in Exercise & Human Performance, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science. Additionally, I am a certified CrossFit Level 1 trainer and am currently pursuing certification as a Str
ength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). Following my initial deployment to Iraq in 2004, I realized how valuable exercise was during my recovery from the injuries I suffered as a result of an IED explosion that nearly claimed my life. Not only did exercise help me recover physically from my combat injuries, but it also helped me cope psychologically with the chaos that ensued thereafter. In addition to my faith, family, and friends, maintaining my fitness remains an invaluable aspect of my life and path to recovery. I strive to uphold these principles through my involvement with Warpath Kinetics. My goal with Warpath Kinetics is to help create strong and functional human beings using rigorous exercise modalities, advanced nutrition planning, and life-altering recovery and stress management protocols, inevitably equipping clients to “GO TO WAR” for their health and performance. At its core, Warpath Kinetics is a veteran-owned and operated health and human performance company. Its mission is to assist individuals in enhancing their health, fitness, and performance across various physical, physiological, and psychological parameters. Warpath Kinetics works with a wide range of population types and age groups, encompassing the general population, special populations (such as the elderly, diseased, disabled, adaptive individuals, etc.), and athletes spanning various ages and skill levels. By carefully analyzing each client, I create a custom-tailored program that aligns with their health and performance needs and uses various exercise, nutrition, recovery, and stress management protocols to help increase their health and performance levels across the board. Additionally, I specialize in advanced recovery methods, including stretching, muscle scraping, tissue flossing, myofascial release, joint mobilization, and heat/cold therapy. So, whether a client wants to optimize athletic performance or recover from an old injury, Warpath Kinetics can help anyone reach their goals. Warpath strives to provide the best health and performance training using the latest science-backed, evidence-based protocols and cutting-edge exercise equipment. Additionally, Warpath Kinetics uses an interactive training app to coach and communicate with clients about their training.
