Our annual Fall Meeting was a success as we got down to business for the 2026 season. We tried something new this year and asked our players to finish the sentence: A Matadors player should exemplify…?

Our final 2026 rosters with 9U Matadors.

This was our biggest group of players to narrow down and it wasn’t an easy task. Thanks to all who showed interest. Keep working hard and loving the game!

Congratulations to these young athletes, we are looking forward to a great 2026 season!

Matadors 9U roster will be posted ASAP as our coaches are still working on a finalized roster. Unfortunately, there was not enough interest for 8U, 14U, or 15U this time.

Thank you to everyone who showed up at our Open Tryouts — we appreciate the enthusiasm for our program and encourage everyone to keep working hard. You get back what you put in.

Reminder: Matadors 8U+9U tryouts at West Field today. All players and parents should arrive by 5:15pm to register and warm up. Bring all personal equipment — gloves, bat, helmet, etc.

By pre-registration numbers, it appears there will be no individual 8U team next year, but all 8Us are encouraged to attend tryouts for a final head count and to also be considered for the 9U roster.

OFFICIAL 2026 TEAM ROSTERS for all levels will be posted this Thursday, Aug. 1.

This amazing crew of boys is now 3-0 at state after this morning’s 9-2 win over Rochelle! Congrats to these dudes and their coaches - who have put in a ton of hard work to accomplish so much together.

Mendota will be a 1 or 2 seed heading into bracket play tomorrow depending on how the rest of the day shakes out. Don’t stop now boys, you have unfinished business!

Two wins in a row today for our LL Minor All-Stars after outlasting Olney in eight innings! This group is in great position for a high seed following tomorrow’s Pool Play finale at state.
