Congratulations to Newton's Jack Winnay for getting drafted by the Red Sox in this year's draft! Jack loved baseball as a kid, born with incredible talent and always worked harder than everyone else. It does not surprise me he will get the opportunity to live out his dreams.
Jack played for my Inside Corner Coyotes 12U team when he was 11. His heart and passion for the game is inspiring. Jack took lessons from me for many years, driving to Hopedale from Newton. I still remember his relentless drive, always the first to arrive and the last to leave practice, soaking up every bit of coaching he could. That dedication, paired with his natural ability, made it clear he was destined for greatness. I wish him nothing but success and happiness as he takes this next step with the Red Sox! Go get 'em, Jack! ⚾
