⚾ THE LITTLE THINGS MATTER. ⚾

The Squad’s run came to an end today with an 8–5 loss to the MS Warriors. 💚💜🩷

And today was one of those games where the lesson was pretty clear: we have to make the routine plays.

Not every game is lost on a huge hit or some unbelievable play. Sometimes it’s the ground ball we’ve fielded a hundred times. The throw we make every practice. The out that should be automatic. Today, too many of those routine plays turned into errors—and errors turn into runs.

At this level, good teams make you pay for extra outs, and the Warriors did exactly that.

But that’s baseball. ⚾ We aren’t going to let one game erase the fight these boys showed all weekend. We’ll learn from it, get back to work, and clean up the things we KNOW we can control.

Make the routine play. Get the out. Move on to the next one. 💪

We learn. We adjust. We come back stronger.

Talk about a NAIL BITER! 😮‍💨 These boys battled until the very end and pulled out a 7–6 WIN over the Union Stingers! 💚💜🩷

After coming up short in Game 1, they didn’t hang their heads—they learned, adjusted, and came back ready to FIGHT. 💪 And THAT is what being a Squad is all about!

But we aren’t done yet… 👀🏆

The Squad came up a little short against the Meridian Crushers, falling 8–4. But around here, a loss doesn’t define us—it TEACHES us. 💪

We learn. We adjust. We pick each other up. And then… WE GO AGAIN. 🔥

No hanging heads. No dwelling on the last game. These boys are ready to bring the energy and battle in GAME TWO!

The boys battled and played some good ball today in the HEAT!!!
Bringing home 2nd in our first tournament for the fall season is something to be proud of! Now we are going to take what we learned from today, put in the work and be ready for the next tournament!
