Golfers 🏌️‍♂️ often get frustrated when trying to lower their scores. What I find is that it’s from not applying what they know correctly. Usually, they’re trying to force a swing position because of what they’ve seen on camera, or have been told in a lesson. Here’s a few simple tips to help you.
1. If you find that your shots curve too much to the left, then feel like you’re keeping the knuckles facing the sky a little more through impact.
2. If the ball is fading too much, then feel like you’re facing the knuckles towards the ground through impact.
The ball curves by the amount of spin axis on the ball. Spin axis is determined the difference between club face and path. These feels I’ve mentioned will help reduce how open or closed the face is to the path. The straightest golf shots come when there’s very little difference in these parameters. See photos below.
