This year marks 100 years since the beginning of Black History Month—rooted in 1926 as Negro History Week by Dr. Carter G. Woodson, created to ensure Black history would be studied, honored, and never erased.

A century later, we celebrate the brilliance, resilience, creativity, and power of Black people—past, present, and future. We honor the ancestors who paved the way, the change-makers who keep pushing us forward, and the everyday folks who make history simply by living boldly and authentically.

Black history is American history. It’s not just one month—it’s a legacy that lives every day.

Here’s to 100 years of remembrance, resistance, joy, and pride. ✊🏾📚🎉
