Meet Coach Will Bullington 💪🏋️
Coach Will B started CrossFit in 2013 and pretty quickly got hooked. “I didn’t grow up in a particularly active family, but I realized in college that I needed to make being active a priority for my health. The camaraderie and constantly varied workouts are what really kept me coming back.”
Coach Will B been at Triad since 2020, and it’s the coaches and the people here that have kept him around. “My favorite movement is ring muscle-ups, and I’m always trying to get better at gymnastics. You’ll usually find me at 5:00 AM, and I coach Thursdays at 6:00 AM.”
“I come from a family of engineers, and my dad was a college professor, so teaching has always been around me. I’ve found that I usually learn something better when I have to teach it to someone else. I also work in Data Analytics at International Paper, so I tend to overthink things. Coaching has been a good way to force myself to simplify things—both for other people and for myself.”
My wife, Julianne, started CrossFit a couple of years ago after I convinced her to try it, and we have two boys, Daniel and Thomas. They’re 3 years old and 1 month old, and being healthy for them is a pretty big motivation for me. Hopefully I can convince them to join me at the gym someday too.
I wanted to coach because I enjoy helping people learn, improve, and chase goals that have nothing to do with the number on the scale. Plus, I’ve spent enough years being coached at 5:00 AM that it seemed only fair to give back.
Make sure to lock in your Wodify class slot for Thursdays at 6AM for Coach Will Bullington! Otherwise you can normally catch him on weekdays at the 5AM class. Let’s give some love to our newest coach!
