I am offering swim lessons sessions for kiddos who are 3 (by Jan 1, 2021) and up. About me: Hi! I am Katharine. I'm 33 years old. I grew up teaching with my mom when I was between the ages of 7-10. I swam competitively as a child. I began teaching again after college. In 2012, I was trained by Holly Self to teach s

wimming lessons. I am also Lifeguard Instructor certified, which includes CPR, First Aid, AED. I have taught lessons at Lifetime Fitness, the Kroc Center, and Memphis Country Club, where I was the Aquatics Director for 2 years. I now teach out of my parents home. After years of debating on whether I should jump in and teach full time, the time has finally come. This summer I am going to be teaching lessons all summer long beginning in May. My favorite thing about teaching is to help each student learn to overcome their fear, learn to trust themselves and their teacher, learn to take healthy risks and experience freedom. There is nothing better than watching each student have their light bulb moment and all the pieces fall into place. Their big smiles say everything when they learn to swim!

I have 14 years of experience teaching swimmers of different ages and ability levels, and I love helping kids gain confidence and become safer in the water. My lessons focus on water safety, confidence-building, and helping each swimmer progress at their own pace in a positive and encouraging environment.

JUNE 1-4 (east memphis/gtown area)

2-2:30 class is open

4:50-4:20- level 2 (2 spots open)

JUNE 8-11 (Germantown)

3:20-3:50 - level 3 (2 spots open)

JUNE 15-18 (collierville)

3:10-3:40 level 1 (1 spot open)

5:30-6pm level 3 (1 spot open)

June 22-26 (east memphis)

2:40-3:10 level 1 (1 spot)

3:20-3:50 level 2 (2 spots)

4:50-5:20 level 3/4 (1 spot)

**Youngest age I take is 3 years old and they must be pottery trained **

Lessons are Monday-Thursday. Friday is a make up day if I cancel due to storms we do swim in just rain.

Groups: **4 kids, 2-3 instructors, 30 minute lessons **

LESSON OPTIONS:• Private Lessons – $350 (limited availability in June)

This is includes me traveling to your house. Your kiddos get individualized instructions based on their skill level and what they need

• Group Lessons – $200
