The Club is a non-profit organization which is designed to stimulate the interest in the brotherhood of its members and to promote community welfare. We participate in community activities of a social nature. We believe, too, that men can assemble from different groups and occupations, and from different social and economic conditions, and can unite for good fellowship and brotherhood, and they c

an be encouraged to support uplift programs... for the total community. We are non-partisan, but we support qualified candidates for public office, and we support worthy causes. drives and others. We have purchased an N.A.A.C.P. Life Membership. We have been operating for over Sixty years, The Memphis Club, Inc. was founded June 17, 1953, at Abe Scharff Y.M.C.A., and became a chartered organization February 1, 1954. The Founder of the Memphians Club, Inc. was the late W.C. (Bill) Weathers.
