Rob Browne hosts SEC Sidelines Sports with featured guest Dennis Dodd plus Dudley Dawson and Vince Ferrara for a major fallout show on Brendan Sorsby and the future of college football.

The NCAA ruled Sorsby ineligible after gambling violations involving roughly $90,000 in wagers, including bets on his own team while at Indiana. A Lubbock County judge granted a temporary injunction allowing him to play for Texas Tech in 2026, while the NCAA appeals and the case moves toward a February 8, 2027 trial.

Now the reaction is spreading across college football. Georgia and Nebraska have reportedly backed away from future games with Texas Tech, the Big 12 is exploring possible responses, and NCAA president Charlie Baker has blasted the ruling as a threat to competitive integrity.

Dennis Dodd joins Rob Browne to break down the national fallout, NCAA authority, gambling rules, NIL pressure, conference power, courts and whether college sports now needs a commissioner or CEO style leader. Dudley Dawson and Vince Ferrara bring the SEC perspective as the crew also debates the top stadiums in the SEC and why home field advantage still matters in a sport where the rulebook keeps shaking.
