Hunter Adrian (Melrose) 2017-2020

One of the most decorated wrestlers in state history, the four-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic was just the third person in Massachusetts to capture four All-State titles. He won three New England championships and ended his high school career with a 215-6 record.

After Melrose: Adrian will wrestle at Brown University in the fall.

Ryan O’Boyle (Central Catholic) 2009-2012

A three-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic, O’Boyle ended his high school career in style by winning the New England title for the second time to cap off a 50-1 season. O’Boyle won three Div. 2 and three Lowell Holiday titles, ending his career with 177 wins.

After Central Catholic: O’Boyle went on to wrestle at McDaniel College from 2013-2016 where he was a two-time Div. 3 All-American.

Congratulations to Hunter Adrian, who was announced this afternoon as the 2020 Massachusetts recipient of the Dave Schultz Award by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame! Hunter wrestled for Melrose High School and will wrestle in Division I for Brown University next season.
