In a thrilling finish under the lights at Pine Banks Park tonight, the Pirates clinched the Junior League Championship by defeating the Rockies 9-4 in extra innings Completing a two game sweep in the best-of-three series, the Pirates battled through a tense regulation matchup before pulling away for the victory in extra frames. It was a hard fought battle that showcased incredible heart and resilience from both dugouts, but ultimately, the Pirates’ late game surge sealed the 2-0 series win. Thank you to all the volunteers for a great season and the players for giving their all!

And in last night’s Minors Division Championship, the Giants defeated the Angels 6-3 to claim the title! The Giants were paced by a double and inside the park HR from Henry Bruce, and four shutout innings from Ryan Palmieri with 6 strikeouts🤜🏻! Congrats to the champs, and a huge thank you to all our volunteers on a great season! ⚾️

Love that dirty water! The Red Sox downed the Blue Jays 5-0 in the Majors Championship game tonight at Lewis Monk Memorial Field. Manager Jim Tierney’s squad was led by Charlie Palmieiri, who whiffed 13 batters to bring home the hardware. Congrats to both teams on a great season, and thank you to all our volunteers for making it happen!
