One of our go-to summertime walleye presentations on Lake Oahe is tough to beat: a Mack's Lure Smile Blade paired with a slow-death hook and a juicy nightcrawler. 🎣

Most of the time, the walleyes can't resist it... but every now and then, they get a little sneaky! As you can see in this photo, this fish was doing its best to steal the crawler without finding the hook. 😂

It's a simple setup that consistently puts fish in the boat and remains a staple in our summer arsenal when chasing Oahe walleyes.
