Ginny Aversa Tyler began American Nam Seo Kwan Tae Kwon Do in 1995 and earned her black belt in 1999. She co-founded The Tigers Demonstration Team, which brought awareness of the Martial Arts to city events in Garland, Richardson, and Plano. She has also trained with Traditional Okinawan, Wing Chun, Shotokan, and Kobudo instructors, also earning her black belt in Kobudo in 2020. Following the AKAT
O system, she has been an instructor for over 18 years. Ginny has taught for Tae Kwon Do of Anna and First Class North Texas Homeschool Co-op, as well as hosted various self-defense and martial arts awareness seminars. Tyler is the founder and instructor for DMD Tae Kwon Do LLC. Tyler is also the author of the children's "Kingdom Kicks" book series, currently available on Amazon. This dynamic character building series was Century Martial Arts' 2018 best-sellers, and in the same year, Mrs. Tyler was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame in recognition of this series.
