Virginia SCTP is building something special. 🇺🇸💥
Over the past year, I have worked diligently to help establish a strong foundation of leadership and support for the Virginia SCTP, and today I am excited to officially introduce the team that will help lead Virginia into the future.
Please join me in welcoming Keith Toler as the new SCTP Virginia State Advisor. Keith has stepped forward with a genuine passion for youth shooting sports and a vision for continued growth across the state.
Supporting Keith will be an outstanding group of individuals who have already shown tremendous dedication to Virginia SCTP:
• Morgan Judy
• Abbie Robeson
• JD Moore
• Brent Andrews
• Joshua Key
Success in SCTP is never about one person — it takes a team willing to invest their time, energy, and heart into young athletes, coaches, and families. Virginia is blessed to have exactly that.
I also want to extend a very special thank you to Ray Shields. Although Ray has moved to North Carolina, he continues to care deeply about Virginia SCTP and still faithfully coordinates our monthly Zoom meetings to help keep everyone connected and moving forward. His continued support means more than words can express.
And the growth in Virginia is real.
Both the 2026 Virginia SCTP Trap Championship and the 2026 Virginia SCTP Sporting Clays Championship nearly doubled attendance from 2025 — a tremendous sign of excitement, momentum, and the bright future ahead for youth shooting sports in Virginia.
I was honored to conduct the 2026 SCTP Virginia Sporting Clays Championship hosted by Old Forge Sporting Clays, and the event was an incredible success filled with outstanding athletes, supportive coaches, dedicated volunteers, and great sportsmanship.
Finally, let’s give a huge congratulations to Arrowhead Gun Club for capturing the Virginia SCTP Sporting Clays Perpetual Championship Trophy! 🏆 They will officially defend the title in 2027, and I have a feeling the competition next year is already heating up.
Virginia SCTP is growing, building leadership, developing athletes, and creating opportunities — and this is only the beginning!
Thank You Keith & his support staff!!!
