🏆Welcoming Rachel Downey, TCRG to MFA🏆

Originally from London, England, Rachel’s professional dance career has taken her across 31 countries around the world, with credits including Riverdance, Gaelforce Dance, Dance of Desire, and performing as a lead dancer in Dance Masters. Her career also includes choreographing the West End production of The Pirate Queen, performing for the King of England, and sharing the stage with One Direction.

Before beginning her professional career, Rachel was an accomplished championship dancer for the Trainor School, achieving Top 10 placements at every major championship, including the World Irish Dancing Championships.

Rachel is the owner and director of the Rachel Downey School of Irish Dance, with locations across London and Hertfordshire. She has developed dancers from complete beginners through to World Championship medalists, with students earning Top 5 and podium placements at the North American Irish Dance Championships, British Nationals, Great Britain Championships, and other major championship events.

Rachel is also the founder of Contour & More Makeup Designs, bringing over a decade of experience in professional makeup artistry within the Irish dance industry and beyond. Renowned for her work with competitive dancers and performers, Rachel’s artistry has reached an international stage, with her makeup work featured in Vogue Magazine.

She is a proud mum to her daughter Isla, and can’t wait to be a part of The Montgomery Frank Academy!
