Honored to accept this proclamation from Brevard Public Schools (official) recognizing National Water Safety Month. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue expanding school-based water safety programs and ensuring more children have access to lifesaving water safety education. These initiatives are only possible through the continued support, collaboration, and commitment of our schools, community leaders, families, and all connected stakeholders who believe in protecting our kids. Thank you Every Child A Swimmer, FSPA Space Coast, and Healthy Start Coalition of Brevard for providing water safety education in the traditional classroom setting and on the pool deck this year.

Water safety is a community effort, and together we are making a lasting impact. Aquatics & Education is excited to reach and support even more students next school year as we continue building safer, stronger, and more confident young swimmers throughout our community. It’s officially National Water Safety Month! 🌊🏊🏻‍♀️
We’re kicking things off by celebrating our School-Based Water Safety Day Program—an initiative we’re incredibly proud of as it continues to grow across Brevard Public Schools (official). This year marks an exciting expansion, now serving Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade students at Sherwood Elementary School, and we look forward to reaching even more schools in the future!

A huge thank you to the Melbourne Fire Department—having the crew from Station 77 in the water alongside our swimmers was powerful. It not only built confidence for students, but also reinforced that water safety is truly a community effort. Their presence brought real-world prevention to life, showing that safety, preparedness, and teamwork go hand in hand both in and out of the water. We appreciate Swell Swim FL for joining us as another local provider committed to supporting water safety and helping children learn to swim. We’re also grateful for Health First for supporting our participants and sharing in this like-minded mission to keep our community safe through drowning prevention efforts.

This effort is made possible alongside the Brevard Child Safety Initiative, supported by Healthy Start Coalition of Brevard and the Florida Swimming Pool Association – Space Coast Chapter. Special thanks to Every Child A Swimmer for providing on-campus classroom presentations before students even entered the water. Making Waves for International Water Safety 💙🌊
Every Child A Swimmer 🏊🏻‍♀️✔️

We were honored to attend National Learn to Swim Week in Grenada—an incredible opportunity to stand alongside a global community committed to one shared mission: keeping every child safe in and around water.

In collaboration with get.grenada.swimming, we all believe swimming is more than a skill—it’s a life-saving necessity. Drowning remains one of the leading causes of accidental death worldwide, yet it is preventable through EDUCATION, ACCESS, and AWARENESS. That’s why being part of this international water safety collaboration means so much to us. Together, we are building partnerships that reach beyond borders, cultures, and communities to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, stay safe, and become a swimmer!

Everh lesson taught, every child encouraged, and every partnership formed brings us one step closer to a world where water safety is universal.

We are proud to represent not just Aquatics & Education, but a vision: that no matter where a child is at, they deserve the chance to learn how to swim. Because when we teach a child to swim, we’re not just teaching strokes—we’re giving them confidence, independence, and a lifelong layer of protection.

The City of Palm Bay is partnering with Aquatics & Education to offer swim lessons this summer. From water safety basics to stroke development, participants will gain essential skills that promote confidence, health, and lifesaving awareness in and around the water.
