One of the many benefits of training at a large gym is the amount of experienced coaches we have on the mats every day.

We have over 20 coaches across our programs. That means you’re not getting lost on the mats. Your learning, your progress and your safety are always our main focus.

This is something people should really think about when choosing the right gym for themselves or their family. Who is actually on the mats teaching? How much attention are you getting? Are you being pushed to get better?

THERE’S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOING JIU-JITSU AND ACTUALLY LEARNING JIU-JITSU.

At Hot Box MMA | Carlson Gracie Team Melbourne, you’re not getting thrown on the mats and expected to figure it out.

We have a structured curriculum and experienced coaches on the mats actually teaching you Jiu-Jitsu — what works, why it works, and how to use it against someone who is really trying to stop you.

Last night we had an extremely respectful “dojo stormer” come in and claim a trained woman couldn’t beat him.

So what did I do?? 😂

I picked the SMALLEST woman we have at Hot Box to teach him a little lesson… with his own arm. 😂😂😂

One thing I love about this gym is we have so many amazing people from all over the world. 🌎🥋

But on the other side of that coin, sometimes our time with some of these people is short.

Last week was our friend Kaito’s last week here in America before moving back home to Japan. 🇯🇵

Kaito, we hope your time here in America was a great experience and you enjoyed being part of our gym and our family. 🙏🏼 We’re definitely going to miss having you here and hopefully this isn’t goodbye and we all get to see you again.

And you better keep training when you get back to Japan. If you don’t, we will come to Japan and give you some surprise training. 😂😂😂🥋
