Safety Susie Swim School A Swim School based on positive re-enforcement. All private lessons at either our location in Suntree or select at home locations. No Forced Immersions!

We are NOT a survival swim school but instead a learn to swim program. Susie has been teaching for 34 years. Our Swim School believes in the "Spoonful of Sugar Method"Sweet but firm we get the job done. Our staff is highly trained and cares about your fish- we promise to have and use all the patience your child needs to learn to swim. We do adult lessons, too- our students range in ages from two t

o a hundred and two! One of our instructors specializes in special needs students and we are always happy to accept those students who have been water-traumatized. No matter what your level of experience, we are happy to have you in our pool- everything from beginner swimming to stroke work all the way through! We swim as long as the weather permits (our Suntree location is heated, which allows us to swim through the fall). We hold lessons at the Springs of Suntree Community Pool or we can travel to your own centrally-located Brevard Pool location.

Unfortunately at this time we aren’t taking on new students for the 2025 season. I had some scheduling issues and a sick father in hospice and not sure what my schedule will look like. I can refer you to 2 other instructors I trust if you would like. I don’t want to make a commitment I might not be able to keep as that is not fair or right. If you would like those recommendations please message me and I will pass on their information. Thank you for your understanding.

It’s (almost) the most wonderful time of the year!! While we still have a few more weeks before we really kick off the holiday season, it’s never too early to mark your calendar for the 2nd Annual “Junny the Red Nose Bloodhound's Christmas Light Fest!!”

Last year, Mr. Grinch tried to steal one of our most beloved holiday traditions, but there was no way we could let that happen!! Junny’s Christmas Light Fest was such a success last year, we know this year will only be better!!

Starting on December 5th, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday in December, through December 22nd (the only Sunday), we invite you to drive through the mile long route filled with Christmas magic and a sprinkle of law enforcement trucks and cars as well as fire trucks!! And of course, on December 21st, you can stroll through the lights and really enjoy the sights!!

Again, this year’s event will take place across from the Jail Complex, at 855 Camp Road in Cocoa and is just $10 per car, and $2 per person on the walk through night. Of course Junny and I will be set up throughout the drive to great everyone as they come by!!
