Emma Smith has been a part of the Freedom Family since 2018, and officially returned to full season cheer to become a member of the Bad Girls Club. 💗
“Cheering at Freedom has taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to show up no matter what is going on in your life. I love being able to show up for the people around me and grind through whatever it is in the gym. Freedom has always focused on building better athletes, but most importantly making sure athletes leave the gym better than how they walked in, both on and off the mat.
I will carry the lessons Coach Bre and Coach Nancy have taught me for the rest of my life, and I truly believe they have helped build me into such a confident and independent young woman.
I am definitely going to miss seeing my second family the most. The bond you build with your team is like no other, and you can always count on having people around you who relate to you on a different level.
I am most proud of how I’ve carried myself throughout my years at the gym. Especially this last year, I feel like I made a bigger impact than I ever realized before. I think I can say that most of the coaches I’ve had think highly of me, and that’s something I’m unbelievably proud of because it was built through years of hard work, integrity, and showing up and giving 100% no matter what.
I cannot put into words how grateful I am for my coaches at Freedom and the opportunities I’ve received. They are truly some of the best people out there and my biggest role models for how I want to carry myself in the future.” -Emma Smith
