🩷 💦 Last Wednesday, we kicked off the season with our Welcome Event & Pool Party! We loved seeing familiar faces back with the Blaze and welcoming all of our new players and families to the organization. 13u ended the season in style and playing their best softball! They lost a tough 1-0 game but went 6-2 in the Great Lakes/Midwest Nationals playing up in the 14u division. They finished 3rd of 22 teams!

Nationals Day 2:

13u- went 2-0 including a big victory over a very good team to keep them as 1 of only 4 undefeated teams left in the tourney! They’re guaranteed to be playing on the final day Saturday.

11 Black- went 1-1 on the day and hope to make a long run tomorrow to get them to Saturday.

9 Black- went 1-1 including a walk off win that was interrupted by a downpour.

9 Black, 11 Black, and 13u are all playing up an age division and competing in the Great Lakes Midwest Nationals in OFallon this week. They all completed their two pool games yesterday.

13u- won both of their games and their pool, including a dramatic walk off HR by Maddi Craig in the second game!

11 Black- won both of their games and their pool, including a 2-0 shutout that ended in a 1-2-3 double play.

9 Black- after a tough one run loss, they rebounded to win the second game and finish second in their pool.

🌊🥎 While our girls battled on the softball fields in Gulf Shores, they also took some time to make memories that will last forever. Our 11U Black and 13U Blaze girls traded their cleats for sundresses and had an absolutely beautiful beach photo shoot! 🩵

This 11u Black team came down to the USSSA Gulf Coast Nationals in Gulf Shores and played their hearts out! After facing some adversity and losing a very controversial first bracket play game, they rattled off 5 wins in a row to battle all the way to the Final 4 of 11 Open division! 4th of 22 very good teams from around the country is something to be proud of! The only teams finishing higher were either All Star teams or high level A teams. Great job girls!
