Team RockOut made their presence felt all season and finished as our 2026 14U National Champions.

🏈 WHO GETS #1?

The 2027 7v7 Elite schedule is LIVE and registration is officially OPEN.

But we’re doing something different for the programs willing to commit early.

27 TEAMS. 27 COACHES. 2027.

We’re calling them the 27 FOR ’27. 🔒

The first 27 teams to complete a paid registration for a 2027 7v7 Elite event will receive special recognition throughout the season, priority consideration for scheduling requests, a customized team spotlight — and one coach from each team will be included in our initial 2027 coach-verification rollout.

That last part matters.

Effective July 1, 2026, Florida’s Level 2 background-screening requirements for coaches covered by the state’s independent-sanctioning-authority law are now in effect.

7v7 is going through a transition.

We’re not waiting until tournament morning to figure it out.

We want to start working through the process NOW with the coaches and organizations that are committing to 2027 early.

Our plan is for those coaches, upon successful completion of the required screening process, to receive a personalized 7v7 Elite Verified Coach credential with QR verification.

Verified coaches. Visible credentials. Better accountability.

And there’s another reason we’re doing this.

EARLY COMMITMENTS ALLOW US TO COMMIT EARLY.

When teams register early, we’re able to move earlier on facilities, fields, media, staffing and all of the pieces that go into creating the 7v7 Elite experience.

If you’re willing to commit to us early, we want to recognize that commitment and do our best to take care of you in return.

There are only 27.

Once they’re claimed, they’re claimed.

And it all leads to The Finale.

But you don’t just register for The Finale.

Teams will compete throughout the 2027 season for the opportunity to qualify for our invitation-only Finale in Leesburg, Florida.

Then, when the best meet the best, The Finale champion in each age division can earn up to $10,000 in sponsorship awards for their team.

FLORIDA 7v7 COACHES & ORGANIZATIONS — IMPORTANT UPDATE

For the past few years, Florida’s Level 2 fingerprint background check requirement for youth athletic coaches has been discussed, delayed, and extended multiple times. That has understandably created confusion across youth sports.

As of July 1, 2026, the current law requires Independent Sanctioning Authorities to conduct Level 2 fingerprint-based background screenings for coaches who have direct contact with youth athletes. The responsibility falls on the organization—not the individual team. (⁠Online Sunshine)

At 7v7 Elite, we’ve always believed that protecting young athletes comes first. At the same time, we know many coaches, organizations, and families are still trying to understand exactly what the new requirements mean in practice.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing:
• What a Level 2 background check actually includes
• Who the law applies to
• What coaches should expect
• How organizations can prepare for compliance

Our goal is simple: keep coaches informed, protect our athletes, and help the Florida 7v7 community navigate these changes together.
