Sebastian Inlet Surf & Sport

Sebastian Inlet Surf & Sport Sebastian Inlet Surf & Sport is the closest shop to Florida's best known wave.

We're 100% dedicted to the local community, working with local shapers, surfers, businesses, artists, musicians and emerging brands to bring you a shop experience unlike any other. We opened the shop Memorial Day Weekend 2012 with a raging grand opening party that brought the best surf of the year the next morning -- but we've been surfing and hanging out at Brevard County's south beaches for deca

des. The shop is 2 miles north of the Sebastian Inlet Bridge and features a shaded porch for hanging out post-session, a main floor for clothing and accesories and a dedicated Board Room for short boards, long boards and SUPs. Our roster of shapers includes Rickie Carroll, Richie Buehn, Sam Barker & Dave Smith. We have hosted events like ESM Magazine and Surfrider's Space Coast Saunter, Matt's Casbah Matt's in Motion pop-up restaurant, and fund raisers for the Melbourne High Surf Team.

We thought we should give y'all a chance to vote for your favorite Summer Surf Camp flyer, the yellow one or the newer sorta purpleish one.Let us know what you think. By the way, in a unique situation, there are no registrations for Week #1 while last year's first week was the biggest one of the season. So ... to kick off the 2026 season properly, we're going to lower the registration price to just $300, our regular Early Bird price. Let's make it the best season ever!!!

What's on my mind asks Facebook. Well, how about an end to the freezing weather we've all endured, a quick trip to Shaka Costa Rica and, most importantly, a new season of Surf Camps, For now, let's focus on our Spring Break Surf Camps. After a couple of years when Brevard and Indian River Counties had the same spring break dates, we're back to back-to-back dates, with Brevard going from March 23-27 followed by Indian River from March 30 to April 3. This allows us not only double the number of campers we can register but also gives us more time for the water to warm up after the coldest winter in recent memory. As always, our goal is to build stronger and smarter surfers in our seriously fun camps. Over the next few days, we'll be adding extra information about our line-up of 2026 camps, but to register your kids for either (or both) Spring Break camps, just head to www.bit.ly/surfingcamps You can also call us for more information at 321-574-0600.

As we close in on our 13th anniversary, we take notice that we basically have never advertised or even mentioned the many great products we have in our shop. Instead, we have focused on local happenings, our surf camps and charitable events we are proud to participate in.

However, it has also been our policy to find great products that are hard to find in most shops, not ridiculously priced, made in either Florida or the USA and of high quality. And, in many cases, the companies providing these products are women-owned.

So, we felt it was time to tell you a little about some of these companies and their products that we sell, starting with Stream2Sea. Based in Wauchula, Florida, Stream2Sea makes possibly the finest sun protection products on the market today.

Founded and owned by cosmetic chemist Autumn Blum (pictured), Stream2Sea takes not only sun protection seriously, but also the effects sunscreens have on the ocean environment. While so many sunscreens stamp their products with “Reef Safe” or exaggerated numbers like “SPF 70” Stream2Sea actually has qualified certifications for every claim they put on their products.

More importantly, they have gone one step further this year with their newest development, a 30 SPF sunscreen called Coral Care that is not only Reef Safe, but actually NOURISHES CORAL REEFS!!! In a world where coral reefs are being “bleached” by increasing ocean temperatures, pollution, overfishing, and ocean acidification, it is amazing to see a Florida company try to reverse that trend and help bring coral reefs back to health. We just introduced Coral Care at a reduced price to measure local acceptance and are already ready to order more as many of our customers are happy to support a Florida company than tells it like it as AND wants to make it better!

For more information about Stream2Sea, Autumn Blum and Coral Care, just go to www.stream2sea.com

Congrats! To Gage & Kalena

As the school year marches toward its end and our Summer Surf Camps are one month from commencing on June 2, we are very proud to congratulate two of our long term campers-turned-instructors, Gage and Kalena. Both will be graduating from Sebastian River High School and both are walking away with some great honors.

Kalena has her eyes and heart set on a nursing career and made a great move in that direction as she received her CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to go along with her previously obtained AED certification and her CPR certification (which we require of all of our instructors). While Kalena is a solid instructor in the water, we are very happy to have her on board as our go-to should any of our campers so much as get a scratch on a knee. She is always on the case quickly to make sure everything is in handled quickly and no tears are shed.

As for Gage, he took on the strenuous International Baccalaureate curriculum at Sebastian River and recently received ten (count ‘em ten!) scholarships as he heads toward Florida Atlantic University, where two other of our instructors, Jimmy and Abi, are already enrolled. Gage will be entering the Marine Biology program at FAU, keeping him close to the ocean at all times.

As we are with Kalena & Gage, we are endlessly proud of all of our instructors with their accomplishments in school, in sports and, of course, in setting high standards for our campers.

Wow! Lots of things going on at the shop! First up, Spring Break Surf Camp starts on Monday, March 17 at 9 am through Friday, March 21. There are still a couple of slots open so you can get a kid or two in the water. Only have a couple of free days? Individual days are available as well. To register, just call the shop at 321-574-0600 or go online to www.bit.ly/surfingcamps

Then without a moment to take a deep breath, Saturday, March 22 sees Lele Niper of Shanti Wellness Center host two sessions of Aerial Yoga Workshops. Session number One is for adults and runs from 9 am to Noon. Then after a lunch break, the Youth Session puts 12-18 year olds in the slings. Trust us, there is nothing quite like doing challenging yoga poses while hanging in a 300 year old oak tree! Space is limited, so go to www.ShantiWellnessFL.com to sign up or call 321-525-6276.

Next, the first of our well known Chica Weekends ramps up from Friday afternoon April 4 to Sunday April 6. This, of course, is our women-only surf experience, which includes balance and strength training, yoga, meditation, live music, two great meals and lots of surfing. To register for the weekend, go to www.bit.ly/surfingcamps or call the shop at 321-574-0600.

And, for the BIG NEWS, registration is now open for our ten separate weeks of Summer Surf Camps AND our new After School Surf Camps. As with Spring Break and Chica Weekends, you can call the shop to register or go online to www.bit.ly/surfingcamps Register by April 1 and get SERIOUS DISCOUNTS and secure your slots in your PREFERRED weeks.
