Congratulations to our 10U Softball All-Stars, 2026 District 2 CHAMPIONS! 🥎🏆
This hardworking and talented squad completed an undefeated 3-0 tournament run, besting Viera 9-5 to take home the first ever District title in SBLL’s softball history.
From not having enough players to field a softball team for years, to a fledgling team filled with brave pioneers from our baseball division, to a CHAMPIONSHIP ALL-STAR TEAM…we couldn’t be more proud of the determination, teamwork, and talent these girls displayed!
🔥 Nova dominated on the mound, pitching a 6-inning complete game with 10 strikeouts, while also crushing massive hits at the plate!
⚔️ Shae was unstoppable, going 3-for-4 with a bat on fire and playing lockdown defense at second base!
💎 Elly turned 3rd base into a no-fly zone, making three unreal game-saving plays!
🛑 Kira was an absolute wall behind the plate, shutting down Viera’s run game by throwing out a runner at 2nd to end a massive threat, alongside two other incredible defensive plays!
💪 Vivienne brought elite defense to 1st base and came up huge with 2 massive hits!
⚡ Amelia anchored the infield with stellar shortstop play all night long and added a huge hit of her own!
🏃♀️ Skye used her elite speed for some heads-up baserunning, scoring all the way from second base on an infield hit with 2 outs to seal the game with a clutch insurance run!
💯 Audrey delivered a massive 2-out hit, showcasing brilliant baserunning and a textbook slide into home plate to keep our rally alive!
🎯 Chloe came through in the clutch with a big hit and put on a clinic with aggressive baserunning!
Huge thanks to head coach Stephanee Neshek and assistant coaches Andy Butler, Joel Drapeau, and Kevin Kroll. Without your time, talent, and dedication to growing our softball program and developing our girls into championship players, this win wouldn’t have happened.
