Ya know , I really do love seeing all the pics everyone shares , but to think back in time we didn't do this. It was go to the local check station to see if we could see any big bucks checked in , or does , didn't matter ! To listen to everyone standing around the truck beds or car trunks or wherever they had a deer in/on the vehicle and listen to the story of how it was harvested and as a kid would wish I could get one that big or bigger ! Those days was the best and unfortunately kids today will never get to do or understand what those memories will mean to a outdoorsman ! I would love to see the old checking in stations where ya stood around having a sandwich and drink and talking to other hunters like we did in the 70s and 80s ! For us that know and remember, it was the best time of year ! For those who don't know , you don't know what you missed out on and wish you could have been there ! The Good Ole Days !!!!
