Attention Archery hunters: Yes, Colorado is going to a draw for non-resident and resident archery tags. However, something to keep in mind. Our units 11, 52, 42 & 421 and hunts take zero points to draw, and this will be just a formality for you to put in for the tag. Yes, you will now have to pay for a qualifying license which will be an extra roughly $120.00 on top of the $800.00 tag cost. You will have 3 chances to get this tag. If you are saving points, you still might be able to draw a tag as a second choice and if you don’t get it on the first go around, then there will be the second or leftover process that doesn’t affect your points. Our units usually don’t ever sell out until they get closer to the season starting. So don’t wait to book an archery hunt at the last minute. We have guided archery, and muzzleloader hunts open for 2025 on private land. You will be able to hunt anywhere from 6000 up to 12,000 ac if needed for these guided hunts. Opportunities are usually 60% and up during archery season. Every year of success and opportunity is different depending on the rut cycle. So don’t let your past years of archery hunts play a role in booking a hunt. Think outside the box a little bit.
