For Danyelle Boardman , the western way of life is built around family, hard work, and finding purpose in the everyday moments that shape who we become.

As a wife, mother of two wild little boys, and someone balancing business, motherhood, and ranch life, she understands what it means to build a life rooted in grit, growth, and showing up for the people who matter most.

Drawn to a lifestyle where you earn what you have, take care of your people, and never shy away from hard work, Danyelle is constantly looking for ways to grow, learn, and become better for both her family and community.

Through the Art of the Cowgirl Breakaway Roping Fellowship, she will continue that journey alongside 2026 Fellowship Master Lari Dee Guy , surrounded by mentorship, connection, and women who share a passion for preserving the western way of life.

Long before Art of the Cowgirl became what it is today, Tammy Pate envisioned creating spaces where women could gather to learn, grow, and preserve western traditions together.

That vision continues this August in Colorado.

The Colorado Gathering is built around horses, craftsmanship, mentorship, community, and authentic connection — carrying forward the same spirit that has shaped Art of the Cowgirl from the beginning.

A week designed to slow down, reconnect, learn something new, and experience the West surrounded by women who share a passion for preserving it.

𝑨𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒘𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒆 2026 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑨𝒓𝒕 𝑭𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝑱𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒊 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒍.

Guided by her faith and a deep love for the American West, Wyoming artist and professional taxidermist Jenni Stoll l creates work that honors both the beauty of God’s creation and the enduring spirit of the frontier. Raised on a small self-sufficient farm, she learned early that purposeful living is rooted in faith, hard work, and stewardship of the land and animals around us.

Blending the technical precision of her taxidermy background with the emotional depth of fine art, Jenni’s work seeks to preserve the grit, beauty, and unwritten history of the West. Through each piece, she hopes to capture a time when life was deeply connected to the land and the horizon felt limitless.

As this year’s Fine Art Fellowship recipient, Jenni will study under Master Artist Mary Ross Buchholz Art, continuing her pursuit of creating meaningful work that reflects heritage, faith, and the timeless spirit of the American West.

From horseback riding and fly fishing to workshops, music, chef-crafted meals, and evenings spent beneath Colorado mountains, this gathering is about more than a getaway. It’s about connection.

𝑨𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒘𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒆 2026 𝑯𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑭𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝑳𝒊𝒛𝒛𝒊𝒆 𝑲𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒔𝒌𝒚.

Raised in the mountains of Colorado, Lizzie may not have grown up in a horse family, but from an early age she knew horses would shape her life. From working as a groom and managing a hippotherapy program in high school to studying Equine Sciences at Colorado State University, Lizzie pursued every opportunity to deepen her understanding of the horse.

While at CSU, she discovered a passion for natural horsemanship through c**t starting for the Legends of Ranching Performance Horse Sale, competing on the Versatility Ranch Horse Team, and interning with respected ranch programs in the West. Her journey later took her to Wyoming, where she worked for Bill and Carole Smith at the renowned Wyo Quarter Horse Ranch, further shaping her belief that true horsemanship transcends discipline and begins with fair, honest communication between horse and rider.

Today, Lizzie continues building a life centered around horses, teaching horsemanship fundamentals and pursuing her dream of operating her own breeding, training, sales, and clinic program.

As this year’s Horsemanship Fellowship recipient, Lizzie will study under Master Horseman Lee Smith, continuing her lifelong pursuit of timing, balance, feel, and the art of better understanding the horse.
