Elk Ridge Outfitters at Morgan Creek Ranch Offers 1:1 guided hunts with Elk Ridge Outfitters in northwest Colorado, "Elktown USA".

Offering 1:1 guided hunts in northwest Colorado from September to November. Outdoor Life has dubbed the area "Elk-town USA" because Craig, Colorado, sits between two of the largest herds in the world: Bears Ears herd, estimated at 23,000, and White River herd, estimated at more than 41,000. Because of our carefully-stewarded Ranching for Wildlife efforts at Morgan Creek Ranch, more than 5,000 elk winter on our 20,000 acres while upwards of 5,000 mule deer live onsite year-round.

Wildlife officer Ian Petkash who works in the Lake George District, recently received a $12,000 grant from the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation at The Giving Back Fund in November 2018 when the Steelers played the Broncos in Denver.
