Here’s our story as part of our Canadian Small Business 100 nomination and for consideration for the Storyteller Award.
I founded She’s4Sports in 2016, to address a gap in the sports landscape. At the time, there was no digital sports media and events company in Canada dedicated to amplifying the voices, stories and achievements of women and girls in sport.
As one of Canada’s first women’s sports media and events companies, we’ve helped shape the women’s sports landscape through storytelling, building community and innovation. From leading many firsts: hosting Canada’s first all-women hockey panel, launching a video podcast amplifying WNBA player voices and creating Canada’s first Black women in sport Summer Social, we’ve built platforms that increase visibility, foster community and advance gender equity.
Nearly a decade later, we’re proud to continue helping shape the future of women’s sport in Canada.
