Fixler Farm, LLC The Averettes strive to produce quality Peruvian horses that are successful in the show ring and on the trails.

David and Athena Averette, owners at Fixler Farm, both grew up in the Peruvian breed showing junior horses since 8 years old. While Athena lived in Ohio and David lived in Alabama, they met and competed at shows throughout the years. In 2007, at the US Nationals in Fort Worth Texas they began a friendship that turned into a relationship, and in 2010 they married. Their love and commitment to the P

eruvian breed is now stronger than ever and they are focusing on developing a breeding program of their own.
