We have an opening for Front Desk position at our MEDINA location. We are looking for an individual with a warm, energetic personality who is detail oriented and very responsible! You are the first person all of our families see when they enter the Swim School.

Schedule IS for mornings AND afternoon/evening weekdays but an occasional Friday evening or Saturday morning may be needed (approximately 20-24 hours per week) on the following days:
Monday 10am-1pm
Tuesday 1:00-8:00pm
Wednesday 9:00am-1:00pm
Thursday 9:00am-12:00pm & 3:00-8:00pm

We offer:
Paid on the job training!
Hourly wage based on experience!

COVID Policies:
All of our staff is required to be fully vaccinated and boosted. COVID exposure is still 7 days and a negative test. COVID positive is 10 days and symptom free (w/o fever reducing medication) for 48 hours. Masks are required for everyone over the age of 2 years in the waiting area and locker rooms.

OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Greeting customers warmly as they enter, take temperature, and checking them in on the schedule.
* Responsible for friendly, upbeat answering phone, also checking voice mail and returning call as needed.
* Reports to manager any scheduling or payment related issues, on a daily basis.
* Additional administrative tasks, as necessary.

FACILITY DUTIES:
* all opening and closing procedures.
* keeping parent viewing area clean and wiping frequently touched items.
* clean locker rooms between families (fresh rugs, clean floors, wipe frequently touched items & toilets, etc.).
* laundry as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Microsoft Excel
* QuickBooks and/or other accounting software knowledge.
* Excellent communications skills (telephone and in-person).
* Able to readily multi-task in a busy environment.
* Professional demeanor at all times, to include customer complaints.
* Enjoys and works well with small children and families.

We want to do everything we can to stop the spread while continuing to keep our instructors and staff healthy! This is the only way MBSS is able to stay open. Masks are required for everyone 2yrs and up! Our facility is cleaned and disinfected multiple times per hour. We ask that you please be mindful of when your child isn't feeling well or been exposed to COVID and keep them (and all siblings) home. Thank you for doing your part in helping keep everyone safe and healthy!

As another year comes to a close and we start a new year, I know you are all busy so I will keep this short…
If you visited MBSS this past year or saw us at the country clubs over the summer…THANK YOU!

This thank you goes out to not only our customers, but also our employees.! What a year it has been, but somehow we got through it together. From a second year of a pandemic that doesn't seem to quit and challenges with staffing. While some small businesses have given up and closed their doors for good, we continue to grow and become stronger because of you, thank you for your dedication to this family owned business.

To our customers, we appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we have been forced to run MBSS with fewer employees. We know you have choices, and appreciate you spending your hard earned money at our swim school.

I hope you have enjoyed happy holidays this year and are looking forward to what lies ahead. Thank you for your support, it means everything to us.

MBSS is closed (no swim lessons) Friday, December 24-Sunday, December 26…Winter Break SPLASH! Camp runs next week (Monday, December 27-Thursday, December 30)! No weekly session swim lessons from December 24-January 2.

Winter Break SPLASH Camp is next week!
Monday, December 27-Thursday, December 30

This will run just like Summer SPLASH Camp but over the week of Winter Break! No weekly Session swim lessons going on over this week...Lessons are taught at the same time and by same instructors for the entire camp. Camp options are either all 4 days on Monday-Thursday or just 3 days on Tuesday-Thursday.

Coach Zong still has availability Monday-Thursday (all 4 days) between 1:00-2:00pm! Coaches Zoey & Addie still have availability Tuesday-Thursday (3 days) between 11:45am-4:45pm! Late Morning-early evening times are still available.

MBSS and our staff want to do everything we can to stop the spread and continue to stay open. We clean and disinfect the school multiple times per hour. Instructors are still wearing face shields while teaching swim lessons and all MBSS staff out of pool is masked.

Masks are required to enter MBSS...we ask that you and all children over 2 years wear a mask when in waiting area and locker rooms! Please be mindful of when your children aren't feeling well: runny nose, cough, headache, fever, etc. Stay at home and just give us a call to let us know!
