God, the Universe—whatever language speaks to you—has a beautiful way of inviting contemplation into our lives during retrograde cycles. 🌙✨ I tend to put more weight on Venus and Mars retrogrades than many of the retrogrades we experience throughout the year because these are personal planets—they speak directly to our lived experience.

Venus asks us to consider what we love, what we value, what we desire, what we attract, what we receive, and how we relate.

Mars asks what we pursue, what we fight for, what we initiate, and what we defend. And with Mars retrograde following Venus, this feels less like a passing cosmic weather pattern and more like an extended period of personal reassessment.

But first comes Venus. 💫 Before we decide what—or whom—we are willing to fight for, Venus may be asking us to determine what is actually worth valuing.

So pay attention to what has been stirring since the end of August. 👀 What needs to be revisited? What needs to be revealed? What has changed in what you value? And what are you finally ready to reclaim? ✨ Sometimes we have to look back before we can move forward. 🌙

Underground Asana is growing, and I’m looking for unique spaces and local businesses that want to become part of the adventure.

The idea behind Underground Asana is simple: we take yoga outside the traditional studio and into unexpected spaces. Students register for a 60-minute vinyasa class before they know exactly where they’re going. The secret location is revealed after registration.

Coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, event spaces, historic buildings, creative spaces, hidden gems—or somewhere I haven’t even thought of yet. If you have a space where a small group can roll out their mats, I’d love to hear from you.
