From last July!

Ahhhhh! It's been awhile since I've posted any insightful posts. So here we are!

I was listening to a podcast the other morning that was talking about the Grace God gives us. It is beautiful, and quite frankly, necessary for we mere humans.

It then went on to talk about how we are not to take advantage of this grace and let it become our excuse to not do things we don't want to do, or engage in things we know we shouldn't.

Let's use this example in the health and fitness realm. It is more than ok to skip a workout when we aren't feeling up to par, or just need a day off. And it's more than ok to have an indulgent dessert. This is giving ourselves grace.

BUT...don't let that grace get out of hand! It's such a slippery slope. Pretty soon, that grace has just become an excuse. Then it's hard to break that cycle.

Let yourself have that day off to recover, but vow to get back at it tomorrow. Eat the cake, don't feel guilty, but tomorrow stay away from the sweets.

*Basically it boils down to our consistency and discipline.*

So, if your grace has turned into excuses, the time is now to get back on track!

No ruck this month. But that's always an option ;)

Well, looks like winter hath struck us AGAIN!

Kensley went this am and said the hill was pretty slick. I've heard that 61 is not good as well. Soooooo....I'm going to cancel this am. However. If you are coming from a place where you can get there no prob...I'm posting the workout!

First one is the gym wod, and the 2nd is home.

Stg is building to a 1 rep max front squat. Start with 40-50% of your max, and build by apx 10% each set. 5*5*3*3*1*1...reps.
