Pool hours are listed below for general admission swim times. We open every day from 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm and reopen for night-swim on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 p.m - 8:30 p.m. We offer self-led water aerobics every weekday morning from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. You can either opt to swim laps or do your own workout. Do you have a student that needs to learn how to swim? Get them signed up for swim

ming lessons through the Mediapolis Aquatic Center Swimming Lessons Program! We teach a Red Cross-certified program known as Learn to Swim Aquatic Lessons. For private lessons, please contact us by phone. Private Pool Parties can be scheduled by calling the pool to see availability and cost. HISTORY:

Mediapolis has completed a new $2,500,000 aquatic facility that opened July 15, 2008. This state-of-the-art facility features a 6600 sq. swimming area with a 168-foot waterside, a catamaran slide for the younger children, and a zero-depth entrance into the pool. The Olympic-size deep area features five lanes for competitive and lap swimming. Unlike the old pool, there is a large area around the perimeter of the pool for natural grass. Five 20 foot umbrellas and numerous picnic tables are in place around the pool. The concessions area has been expanded to allow for a more complete menu. A complete area lighting system and public address system is also in place for night swims and parties. The bathhouse, built-in 1932, has been moved to the new facility. This unique building serves as a reminder of the successful pools in the past. This bathhouse served the original pool from 1932 to 1941. The pool and bathhouse were completely renovated in 1969 and served through 2007.

There will be NO swim lessons today 6/11 due to lightning/thunder, the makeup date will be this Saturday 6/13.

1-5:30pm swim is still questionable, but a post will be made before 12 with a final decision of if we will be open or not.

Due to inclement weather, the pool will be closed today, June 10.

We are still planning to hold Night Swim this evening. However, if conditions worsen and it becomes necessary to cancel, we will post an update as soon as possible.

You’ve seen him running all over town, now you’ll see him running the Mediapolis Aquatic Center!
We are excited to have Simon on board. A recent Mediapolis graduate, Simon is excited to step into the role of Pool Manager and help create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for everyone at the pool. "I look forward to working with the staff, supporting our team, and making this a great season for swimmers, families, and the community”.

Simon’s favorite swim stroke is the butterfly, and you can find him eating a fudge bar from the concession stand!

Stop in a give him a welcome hello and reach out to him with any questions for your 2026 pool needs!
