This is a pre-order store due to close on the May 2nd. Once closed, all orders will be collated and sent into production. Our production process takes 6-8weeks.

We are extremely excited to share that our Director of Rugby, Thomas "TC" Clark has been selected as Coach of the Month through NCR! Since the beginning of this past season, TC has been promoted to Director of Rugby at Tufts and Alex Brussard, previously of Harvard Rugby's coaching staff, has been recruited as our head coach. Both TC and Coach Brussard bring many years of meaningful experiences to the club and have made significant impacts despite COVID-19's restrictions on the pitch. We are very grateful to have them working tirelessly to help the team get to the next level! Congrats TC!

Coaching is about more than wins and losses. It is about making a positive impact on the game, the people and the community. NCR is proud of its over 400 coaches dedicated to improving the lives of young men and women playing college rugby across the United States.

Tufts Men's Rugby is pleased to announce that Head Coach Thomas Clark (“TC”) has been promoted to the Director of Rugby position. He will assume these duties beginning with the fall season.

The club is very excited to announce that Alex Brussard has been appointed to the position of Head Coach to fill the position vacated by Coach TC.

Coach Brussard has been coaching college rugby for the past 7 years after a successful playing career. This won’t be his first stint with Tufts as he was the Assistant Forwards Coach during the 2014 and 2015 seasons and worked previously with Coach Clark and Former Head Coach Kareem Afifi who is now an Assistant Coach at Boston College Men's Rugby.

For the past 4 years, Coach Brussard has worked as an Assistant Coach at The Harvard Rugby Football Club focused on the developmental team and forward play in the fall seasons, while also coaching the sevens team in the spring seasons.

Most recently, Harvard 7s won the 2019 Freedom Cup at the College Rugby Championship. Coach Brussard also coached the Mystic River U19 program.

Brussard first picked up rugby at Boston College High School where he was a two-year captain and had the opportunity to captain the New England and USA U17’s & U18’s.

Coach Brussard went on to play and captain the St. Bonaventure University Rugby team. He also played for Mystic River Rugby Club for 8 years on their High School, Collegiate, and Men’s teams.

On this new opportunity, Coach Brussard commented, “I appreciate everything Harvard and Mike Diamantopoulos have done for me the past four years and wish them the best moving forward. I’m excited about this new opportunity to return to Tufts and be the Head Coach. Go Jumbos!”

Coaches Michael Bozza, David McKenna, and Peter Wells will remain on the staff to assist Coach Brussard.

The Jumbos are excited to take the D1A Rugby Liberty Rugby Conference by storm next year

Recently announced, the Tufts Men's Rugby Alumni Game will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 1pm on Bello Field. The Alumni game will be a friendly matchup between current players and Tufts Rugby Alumni followed by a team barbecue. We are LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY from the kickoff of the 2018 Tufts Men's Rugby Season! The home opener against the University of Connecticut is going to be huge, with Tufts looking to take back a tough loss against the Huskies from last year. This year, with a season of training in a new division and a summer of preparation under their belt, the Jumbos look to take it to UConn on Sept 15. Get rowdy, Get ready, and Roll 'Bos.
