Congratulations to Devon Marshall '22 for becoming a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend.

Devon has had an amazing career so far. At CM, he was a member of the undefeated 2021 state champions and the Catholic Conference MVP. Success followed at NC State, where he was named to The Athletic's All-American Second Team.

One of the best long jump crews in the state strikes again.

Following Saturday's MSTCA Coaches Invite, Amar Skeete '27 is now the fourth-best long jumper in the nation, smashing the meet record, the school record, and his personal record with a leap of 24' 3.0!” Semper took second with a mark of 23' 7.5,” which was also enough to surpass the meet record. Jameson Booker '27 took third with a mark of 23' 0.5."

In the two-mile, Mike Upton '26 qualified for the MIAA Division 2 State Championship, crossing the finish line at 9:56.10.

Danny Kaleba '27 ran a mile PR of 4:31.21 while Jude Kaleba '27 ran a PR of 4:35.20.

Catching up with some recent track and field action, Amar Skeete '27 broke his school record in the triple jump, extending the record to 46'00.” That mark qualifies him for the MIAA Division 2 State Championship Meet and gives him a very early lead in the state rankings. He also qualified for the long jump. Jameson Booker '27 (100), Jelani Semper '27 (200 and long jump), and the 4×100 also qualified for the state meet. The team will be back in action on Monday at a conference meet at Xaverian.
