Well, there it is.

Tomorrow (May 21) after 50 years I begin the last full week serving in the parish ministry. What a joy to bring the words and promises of our Savior to His people. To those who thirst there is living water; to those who are blind there is light; to those who are dying there is life in the living power that is the word of the risen Christ.

By God’s grace I hope to spend more time with family, especially grandchildren. And as the Lord grants me strength I hope to provide help, encouragement, and maybe a little rest to those who continue to serve.

There will be a service of gratitude and thanksgiving to our Lord on Wednesday, May 31, 4 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grants Pass.
