What are Chet caretaker hours you ask? TMC's on-campus house at 17 Chetwynd, fondly referred to as "Chet," will have people ("caretakers") who open the space for people to ~distantly~ hang out and study.

We're so excited to be opening up Chet this semester as a space for TMCers to get to know each other in a socially-distanced manner! We're hoping to have Chet opened Monday through Friday with 2 2-hour shifts every morning, afternoon, and evening. But to do so, we're going to need some help opening it up, keeping it open, and complying with university COVID-19 policies (unfortunately, this includes no snacks this year).

YOU could be a caretaker for our lovely, warm, on-campus home (think: a space that's NOT your dorm to do homework (!!), a projector for movies/documentaries, cozy vibes, and friendly faces!) Caretaker duties include: maintaining a safe and welcoming space, keeping Chet generally clean, opening/closing up the house during your two-hour volunteer shift, and enforcing mask-wearing, hand-sanitizing, and the 8-person capacity.

The form will close at 11:59 pm on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24. We will host a caretaker training via Zoom on Sunday, September 27 at 7 pm to make sure ya know all ya need to know!

Hello TMC! A few things:
1. Open Board will be NEXT Sunday (5:30-6:30), not this Sunday!
2. Following Open Board, there will be a Green Dot training in Barnum 008 for all caretakers (or members intending to become caretaker certified) starting at 6:30 pm.
