Congratulations to the Medford Rogues coaching staff and to Head Coach Kevin Olmstead who was named the league’s Coach of the Year.

In his second season as head coach, Olmstead guided the Rogues to a 15-10 league record, improving the club from a fifth-place finish the previous summer.

“First, this award doesn’t happen if I didn’t have the best coaching staff beside me,” Olmstead said. “They exceeded my expectations every single day, and this award is just as much theirs as it is mine.”

Congratulations to head baseball coach Olmstead on winning the Coach of the Year award and welcoming twin baby boys this month! Kevin knocked it out of the park both on the field and at home!

Congratulations to these Medford Rogues pitchers on their all-league recognitions in 2026! Preston Daniels, Wyatt Green and Herman Luna were recognized for their outstanding summer.

Wyatt Green: “The 2026 season was beyond special,” Green said. “We were all working towards a goal every day, and I think that brought us all closer together.”

Preston Daniels: “The 2026 Rogues were really special because of how close everyone became and how much we competed for each other,” Daniels said. “It was a great group of guys who worked hard, had fun, and made a lot of memories together.”

Congratulations to these Medford Rogues players on their all-league recognitions in 2026! Rogues catcher Chris Ortiz and infielder Kian Sanchez and outfielder Evan Saito received all-league honors among position players.

Kian Sanchez: “A bunch of guys from all over the country playing baseball together will forever be a great part of this game,” Sanchez said. “To have the cohesiveness that this group had in such a short period of time is something you don’t see often.”

Chris Ortiz: “The 2026 Rogues will always have a special place in my heart,” Ortiz said. “We really cared about each other, and you could feel it. That’s a special thing.”

IN THE NEWS: Second-year Medford Rogues manager Kevin Olmstead was recognized as Coach of the Year as league honors were announced on Sunday. Catcher Chris Ortiz, infielder Kian Sanchez and outfielder Evan Saito picked up all-league position player honors. Pitchers Preston Daniels, Wyatt Green and Herman Luna were also honored with all-league mentions.
