👻 WHO YOU GONNA CALL? 👻
It's Ghostbusters Day, and while most of us probably won't be dealing with slime-covered ghosts, possessed refrigerators, or mysterious marshmallow men, it's still a great time to make sure you know who to call when you need help!
📞 211 – Essential community services and resources
📞 411 – Information and directory assistance
📞 511 – Traffic and road condition information
📞 811 – Call before you dig (because finding a gas line the hard way is not recommended)
🚓🚑🚒 911 – Emergencies requiring law enforcement, fire, or EMS
💙 988 – Su***de & Crisis Lifeline
📞 715-748-2200 – Taylor County Sheriff's Office Non-Emergency Line
A few examples:
👻 Ghost in your attic? Call Ghostbusters.
🚧 Need to know if the roads are icy? Call 511.
🚜 About to dig a hole big enough to hide a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man? Call 811 first.
🚔 Someone parked their horse in your living room? Maybe start with the Sheriff's Office.
🚨 Your living room is on fire because you tried to catch a ghost with a homemade proton pack? Call 911.
Remember, not every problem is an emergency—but when it is, don't hesitate to call 911.
And if you happen to see a giant marshmallow man walking down Main Street... maybe call everyone.
Stay safe, Taylor County!
