Hooray! Diane Keith will be taking fabulous photos for you again for the Serious Fun #2 Show! Gobi’s Coffee Bar will be offering delicious drinks for you too. Entries are scheduled to close this Tuesday but great news, we are extending it to Wednesday so please be sure to get your entry form to us. Entries can also be dropped off at the Maywood Stables mailbox located by the covered arena. We look forward to a super FUN show with you!

Remember that it’s not just about closing your legs and reins at the same time. You also need to rebalance the energy with your seat. Imagine you are on a bicycle and are about to pop a wheelie. Engage your abdominal muscles, lift your chest and still your lower back to lift the front wheels of the bicycle up off the ground. In the saddle, this same feeling tells the horse to lower his hindquarters and lift his front end—just like the front of the bicycle lifts off the ground.

Show Postponed!
Due to the continued high heat forecast and very unhealthy fire smoke challenges we have to decided to postpone the show until Sunday September 13th.

We hope this comes as positive news especially for those of you who couldn’t make it in August. Our USEF l graduate Sally Jean Savoy will still be judging in September.

We hope that September will bring us no fires and cooler weather! Hope to see you all then!
