Welcome to Tufts Univeristy's Formula Hybrid+Electric Team. Currently preparing for 2024 competition!

Formula Hybrid builds on the Formula SAE program and takes it to the next level. It adds a new layer of complexity and provides an additional technical challenge to student teams. Like Formula SAE events, the Hybrid competition includes an acceleration test, autocross and endurance events, as well as engineering and construction static events. Unlike Formula SAE, Formula Hybrid events put a greater emphasis on drive train innovation and fuel efficiency.

We are excited to share a major milestone for the electric racing team at Tufts University! 🏎️ ⚡️

This year, we finished building our car, and it's now driving! A huge thank you to the generous support we’ve received from our sponsors and donors. With everyone’s support, over 50 students have gained hands-on engineering experience, contributing to this incredible achievement.
