Last night we wrapped up the Spring season with our end of season banquet. Thank you to all of our amazing Coaches, assistant coaches, manager, players & parents for making it memorable. Nancy & Amy did an amazing job with the food also.

MYSA is looking for some help!!! They are collecting raffle baskets and donations for Championship Cup Day. They also have volunteer opportunities for HS students. Message their page to get in touch with them.

Raffle baskets can be brought to the concession stand on game nights or contact a board member.

Clouds and sprinkles didn’t slow down the regional soccer game at Raider Field Thursday. #5 Merrill had more shots this game than #4 Medford. Peyton had 9 amazing saves but not enough to hold Merrill back from winning 0-1. Chloe, Mallory, Layla and Grace had shots but unfortunately none landed in back of the net. Great for Medford to be playing at home. Would have been nicer to win. Always next year right!!! Great job ladies and thanks for a great and memorable season!

Varsity girls soccer leaving Ashland with 0-1 loss resulting from a penalty kick during their last regular season game. Goalie Peyton saved one PK but a second one was unstoppable. She had 15 saves with Ashland taking 28 shots. Now have the week to get ready for playoffs Thursday June 4 in Medford 7:00!

Hot night weather wise in Minoqua for girls soccer for the last conference game of the season vs undefeated Lakeland. JV tied 1-1 with a late goal by Josslyn. Varsity loss 0-2 with Lakeland goals during the 35th min and at 52 min. Peyton saved 11 shots that were on goal. Lakeland GNC champs and Medford #3 out of seven in conference behind #2 Rhinelander. Last regular season game on Thursday with Medford taking a trip up north to Ashland. Good Luck Raiders!!

Raiders fought hard Thursday night but came up short. JV loss to Rhinelander 0-1. Varsity loss 0-2 despite great effort and close shots by Greta and Livy. One week left of regular season for both teams! We can give #1 Lakeland a run for their money Tuesday!

Medford vs Northland Pines usually are very close games and tonight was no exception! 0-0 tie at the end of regulation. Since it’s a conference game, they went to a 5 round penalty kick shootout. Pines made first kick off top right post and then in. Kodi made Medford’s first kick. Peyton dove right to save 2nd Pines kick. Pines goalie saved Mallory’s attempt. Pines 3rd kick went just slightly wide left for a miss. Medford’s 3rd kicker Chloe powered her shot in to put Medford ahead 2-1 going into 4th round. Peyton batted & denied Pines 4th kick by their goalie. Livy then sealed the shootout win making it 3-1! Congrats Medford!!!!
