The Metacomet Tennis Courts will be undergoing repairs due to issues related to the original installation. The Medfield Facilities Department is working closely with the company that installed the courts to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.

The courts will be closed beginning June 29. We will provide an update and send additional communication once we have a clearer time line for the completion of the repairs and the anticipated reopening date.

Just a reminder this year Hinkley Pond hours are Monday-Friday 11am-6 pm. Pond opens Wednesday, June 24th. ☀️

This season its residents only, and all residents need to register for a pond pass at the Parks and Recreation office during designated hours.

Unfortunately, you can’t not just show up and go to the pond; all residents NEED a pond pass.

The hours of pond passes for next week are:

Monday June 15th- 4-7 pm
Tuesday, June 16th - 2-7 pm
Wednesday, June 17th 9 am - 1 pm
Thursday; June 18th 9 am - 1 pm

Pond passes are not available outside of these hours.

Our last day of Kinder T-Ball! Thank you to all our coaches for volunteering and teaching our kinder athletes the skills and drills of baseball!!

Congratulations to all our participants you improved so much over the season and did an amazing job!!! Until next season….

🚨 Hinkley Parking lot will be closed Saturday, June 6th for parking lot repairs!! Also, Hinkley Pond is heading into its seasonal pond flip. We ask people to stay away from the area next week as we make the pond beautiful for the summer! 🚨

We understand a weekend is not ideal, but we need to get the lot fixed.

Happy Tuesday! This weekend will be our annual pond flip. Right now we ask families please leave the sand alone and don’t use it as climbing mountains. We need all this sand for our pond!!!

We had an AWESOME welcome dinner tonight with our camp counselors and lifeguards! Special shout out to our Park an Recreation Commissioner Nick Brown for coming in to be our game show host!

It’s always a fun night to kick off our summer! We have the BEST staff around!!!! Summer 2026 is looking AMAZING!!!
