Plan Is To Sell Out The Mod Stuff And Go Late Model Racing And Hoping To Own The Triple Dueces Rocket Chassis Late Model Gotta Get Rid Of This Modified Chassis.

The championship event for the 2011 edition of the Allstar Performance Michigan Dirt Cup Modified Tour will be run on Saturday October 1 at Hartford (MI) Motor Speedway as part of the track’s Dealer’s Choice weekend. American Fleet Remarketing, RPM Auto Parts and Landrum Springs have stepped up and bumped the feature winner’s share to $5000, making this one of the best paying Mod events in the nation. The points battle for the Dirt Cup and the $3000 that goes along with it is totally up for grabs, with Mark Anderson leading Jacob Poel by a scant 5 points. The season long Dart Heads Hard Charger Award will also be presented at the event as will the season ending accolades at a ceremony following the races on Saturday night.
Hartford has a huge weekend of racing on tap including SOD Sprints along with Street Stocks and Pure Stocks on Friday September 30. Saturday’s line-up includes the Dirt Cup Mod Finale and a $1000 to win 2012 preview for Michigan Dirt Cup Late Models. Sunday will be the final event for Hartford’s 2011 season with $1000 to win features for both the UMP Late Models and Modifieds. We have TWO Modifieds in the shop this week.. the #27 of JR Guy is in the set up bay Of RPM Race Cars getting the Suspension Straightened out for the last point race @ Potomac Speedway
