A new school year. A new season. A gym full of energy.

There’s something powerful about watching it all come together.

The late nights. The long days. The new skills. The familiar faces. The new goals. The noise, the movement, the chaos, and somehow, through it all, the progress.

Watching this gym come alive again and seeing these athletes step into another season with purpose, determination, and fire is something we never take for granted.

The season is just getting started. And if this energy is any indication, we’re in for something special.

Proud of this team. Proud of this gym. Proud to be part of what we’re building together. ❤️🇺🇸

Come support our teams, eat great local food, and support local by eating dinner at Bell Greek on Thursday. Bell Greek stepped up to cover all our spirit nights at Riverbound when they closed. We are happy to continue to support them. 🇬🇷

There is something special about the end of a gymnastics season.

It is more than the final routines, the last competition, or the moment the chalk settles. It is the closing of a chapter that was written through countless hours in the gym, hard days, breakthroughs, setbacks, laughter, tears, and a whole lot of determination.

The 25-26 season gave us memories we will carry for a long time. We watched athletes grow, not just as gymnasts, but as people. We celebrated big moments, fought through difficult ones, and watched this team continue to show up when it mattered most.

And now, just like that, one chapter closes.

But the best part of gymnastics is that there is always another chapter waiting to be written.

26-27 season starts now.

New goals. New skills. New challenges. New faces. New memories.

The work starts over, but the foundation we built together comes with us.

To everyone who helped make this past season what it was, thank you. To our athletes, coaches, parents, and everyone who continues to believe in what we are building at Aerial East, this is only the beginning.

Close the book on 25-26.

Welcome back Coach Kat! We are excited to have Kathrin back on our staff at Aerial East. She worked at AEG several years ago while she was an undergraduate student at VCU earning a degree in psychology. After college, she moved back to her hometown where she continued coaching before wanting to come back to the Richmond Metro area. Kat comes from a gymnastics family and grew up in the gym. Please help us in wishing her a warm welcome!
